Over the years, Daniel Sarazin has developed a technical expertise which gives his work a distinctive character. His style is defined by colorful, distorted compositions in which abstraction and figuration intertwine to create a hybrid visual language. Vibrant colors interact with altered forms, opening a window where the real and the unreal meet and complement one another.

His creative process begins with writing a narrative specific to each piece. Crafted with care and depth, this narrative gives rise to a scenario, a guiding thread that serves as the conceptual and emotional foundation for the work, shaping the pictorial composition. Each character will thus find his own role, at the heart of a place and an atmosphere, occupying a precise position and playing an essential part in the staging, and bringing an additional dimension to the work.

In front of his paintings, he wishes for the spectator to engage in an introspection by dialoguing with their own inner environment. His work explores our existence within the community, with the aim of making it an open door to a plurality of interpretations where everyone can express their questions and emotions.

His approach is a constant quest for originality, curiosity and creativity. He seeks to produce works that are both concrete and unexpected, simple and singular. His work is a journey through time and a unique expression of his worldview. He does not reproduce what he sees: he paints what he feels, in the hope of reaching the soul and causing an inner resonance.

Through art, Daniel Sarazin wishes to spark a debate by provoking discussions that stimulate collective consciousness and nourish our relationship with the world.
